Stora Enso receives M1 classification for its laminated veneer lumber (LVL)

Stora Enso’s laminated veneer lumber (LVL) has received M1 classification, which stands for low emissions. The classification divides building materials into three categories of which M1 is the best.

M1 label tells that the product has been tested in an independent and impartial laboratory, and it has fulfilled the specified criteria at the age of 4 weeks.

Emission Classification is product-specific and granted by the Finnish Building Information Foundation RTS.

Stora Enso’s Wood Products division provides versatile wood-based solutions for building and housing. Its product range covers all areas of urban construction including massive wood elements, wood components and pellets.
